Another spontaneous write ==> Fresh out of my mind, this poem still has blood dripping from it. It’s written spontaneously in the course of 20 minutes or so – I have not edited and don’t know if I will. Apparently I’m feeling sad…? IDK if I’m feeling sad… But why do I feel so empty?

That’s the question that inspired this write. It’s interesting how one question can inspire such introspective blather¬† hahaha :D

Hope you enjoy it. Hope it makes ya go “hmmm”

And I Was Sober

The sky opened up earlier today
and sprinkled a delicious rainbow
into my mind. The colours were
dizzying, the greens and yellows
so vibrant, a kaleidoscope of utopia.

I nearly came in my pants.

And I was sober.
But it’s dark now.

The moon tonight is so rotund,
a bruised cataract on that midnight-cerulean
air. I gaze at the one shining
orb and think of his solitude
as something stunning, a chameleon
amongst black holes; Is this how
a spotlight feels? I want to smoke
four hand-rolled, premium blunts. That
or howl at the fat moon.

I imagine my neighbors would
think me mad.

Though earlier…That sky…
It opened exquisitely. For a moment; just
two briefly-splendid seconds of awe.

The sun ray stabbed through the day
and made magic and I witnessed
a miracle for the first time
through my own tear.
One melancholy tear.
A proud tear. A foolish tear. A
vibrant tear, color: clear.

And thus a rainbow formed.

But why do I feel
so empty?
